Right now, many couples are enjoying a pleasurable, satisfying sex life together. Being able to enjoy a good sex life with someone you love is a joyous thing. But for however many couples there are who are enjoying deep, passionate sex lives together, there are also couples whose sex lives are rather shallow.

Usually, men and women will go on dates together during the day, and then join each other in bed at night, connect their genitals, and engage in sexual intercourse. These couples use their sexual organs to stimulate themselves over and over and experience the joy of being in love. Personally, I always have sex with my girlfriend on the weekend. About once or twice a week. We get naked in bed, embrace each other, kiss, and then I thrust my erect penis into my girlfriend's vagina over and over, until I experience a powerful orgasm and ejaculate inside her. Sometimes I use a condom, but even so, the feeling of pumping my penis inside her as I ejaculate is such an amazing sensation, no matter how many times I experience it. During this brief period of time, I feel a sense of love through the union of our genitals. That's the kind of loving sex I have with my girlfriend every week.

Traditionally, sex has been used for a man and a woman to procreate, but there are many people who use it as a way to express love and give pleasure to one another. Some couples have sex multiple times a day, while others only have sex once a week or once a month. The frequency differs depending on the couple. Today, I did a little research on the frequency of sex among couples.



In Japan, there exists a mathematical formula for estimating how much sex a certain demographic has on average. For example, for people in their 20s, the formula would be 20 / 10 x 9 = 18, meaning that people in their 20s have sex 8 times every 10 days. According to this formula, people in their 30s have sex 7 times in 20 days, people in their 40s have sex 6 times in 30 days, and people in their 50s have sex 5 times in 40 days.

Calculating this on a monthly scale would get us: 24 times for people in their 20s, 10 times for people in their 30s, 6 times for people in their 40s, and 4 times for people in their 50s. This formula seems to suggest that people in their 20s have sex at least once a day, and sometimes more than once in a night. Now, this formula is certainly questionable, especially if you try to calculate people in their teens with it. (It would claim that teenagers have sex all day without stopping.) However, teenagers are full of youth, energy, and stamina, and middle schoolers and high schoolers in Japan are certainly enjoying pleasurable sex with each other, so it isn't hard to believe that some couples are having passionate sex all night and bucking their hips until every last drop of young, fresh, thick semen is deposited into the vagina. When I was a teenager, I remember working up a sweat daily with my girlfriend over summer break, and the more time we spent together, the more sex we were able to enjoy.



Of course, there is nothing conclusive about that Japanese mathematical formula. In fact, I believe that the actual numbers are much higher. How often do you think couples actually engage in sexual intercourse? According to my research today, I came up with the following frequencies per year (in Japan):

Teenagers: 31 times
20s: 61 times
30s: 36 times
40s: 41 times
50s: 34 times

It looks like people in their 20s have the most opportunities to have sex. 61 times a year means about once a week on average. I imagine that many people in their 20s in Japan go on dates on their days off and then enjoy sex at night. Now, all of these numbers have been strictly in regard to Japanese sexual habits. Today, my research surprised me when I found out that couples in other countries have even more sex than Japanese people. In America, the average frequency per year is 124 times. This means that most people have sex at least 10 times a month.

Compared with the rest of the world, it looks like Japanese people have sex less on a whole. Japan does have a declining birth rate problem, so I think Japanese people should work harder to find chances to have more sex. Why would you not want more chances to get in bed with the person you love, unite your genitals, and enjoy a powerful, pleasurable orgasm together?
